My favorite handheld was the Palm m515. I loved the form factor of the device (that's why I bought a T|E to replace it) and its metal casing. It was also my first color device and that meant I was able to do more than had with my m105. I had been using Launcher III on my previous handhelds and once I had my m515 I moved up to Launcher X. It had a LED and vibrating alarm both of which I used consistently. I had that device for about 2 years and then I passed it on to my 8 year-old sister who still has it today. It was by far my favorite device made by Palm.

My favorite PDA was my IIIc, partly because it was my 1st, and easiest to run. My next was my Zire72, and I love my LifeDrive. If I could have my IIIc, with a built-in camera, voice recordings, and as much memory as the LD, I'd be in heaven.

I must say that the T/X is my favorite. Stated with the IIIe, then played with my wifes T/E, but when I found the T/X, I knew that was for me. I realized I could do so much more, especially with the Wi-Fi. Wish it had built in camera and voice recording, but maybe the next Treo will have everything I want. I think I will still carry the T/X, though.

My T|X is the best PDA I've ever used. It's pretty much replaced my laptop. I use it every day to plan tasks, check contacts, plan my day, read, watch tv shows and movies (I watch about 90% of my tv viewing on my T|X), listen to music, surf the net, look up recipies, etc.
The big screen and WiFi really make it a winner, and it's not much larger than my formerly favourite Vx, but with the better screen and longer battery life. It doesn't have a voice recorder or camera, but I have both of those features in my mobile phone. For $299 (US), it's a steal. I have a 4Gb SD card in it and have more and faster memory than the lifedrive in a smaller and lighter package, without the lag.

Every one but my LifeDrive has been my favorite, because each iteration added more features and capability. I went from Pilot 1000, to PalmPilot Professional (via an upgrade), to Palm III, to IIIxe, to Tungsten C, to LifeDrive (why, oh why, oh why, did I believe the hype?!?), to my current T|X. Each time with more RAM, better display, faster processor...
I've always upgraded when my needs outstripped my Palm handheld, not because something was the latest and greatest. (Even the LifeDrive came when my Tungsten C developed cracks and Wi-Fi problems, and the T|X when the LifeDrive became too wonky to use). That's the solution to a satisfied Palm handheld user, who is now approaching his own 10th anniversary using the devices.

My favorite Palm device that I've used in the past 10 years is my current Treo 600 (although I wouldn't mind having the opp. upgrading one bit!).
My favorite Palm device in general is the T|X. What a beautiful device.

Honestly, I love the older designs, but the palmOne Zire 72 takes the cake for me. It is my first hi-res color device, it has a camera and it does everything I'll ever need it to as a pda. It is my favorite Palm. I even like the design (but I understand if its not your cup o' tea). I peeled off the rubbery blue paint (which was peeling by itself) and now it is a Zire 72s' twin... heh
